Diphu

Diphu is the headquarter of Karbi Anglong district in the state of Assam in India. This small town is a popular tourist hill station for people of nearby cities. The town is home to numerous indigenous networks and different networks from rest of the nation, the Karbis, Rengma, Dimasa Kachari, Tiwa Kachari, Bodo Kachari, Garo Kachari being the significant clans of the area. Diphu is situated at 25.83°N 93.43°E. It has a normal rise of 186 meters 610 feet. It is around 270 km by street and 213 km by railroads from Guwahati. The town is wonderfully situated on a slope.
