Dhone or Dronachalam is a town in Kurnool district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a Municipality situated in Dhone mandal. Dhone was previously known as Dronachalam. Dhone is one of the greatest regions in Kurnool region. As indicated by neighborhood custom, the name of the town is gotten from the name of the coach Dronacharya, a character in Mahabharatha, who mulled over the slope in town.
