Dandeleppa Temple This temple provided the city with its name. It is one of the oldest temples. This temple is dedicated to Dandelappa who was a committed servant of Mirashi landlords. Due to his committed attitude towards his landlords, he lost his life, so the temple is named after him. Local residents worship in this temple only. This temple provides a view of lush green vegetation all around which is worth the visit.

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary This is the second largest wildlife sanctuary in the Karnataka. It is on the bank of river Kali It is famous for white water rafting. This area is rich in bamboo. This place is a shelter to tigers, leopards, black panthers, elephants, deer and reptiles like crocodile and snakes. Safari in an open jeep is the best thing being done there. While doing safari do take a trained naturalist along for the safety purpose.
