About Churu
Churu is a city in the desert region of Rajasthan state of India. It is known as gateway to the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. It is the authoritative headquarter of Churu District. It lies in the Thar Desertclarification needed on the National Highway-65 interfacing Pali to Ambala and is an intersection station on the railroad line to Bikaner. It is close to the moving sand hills of the Thar Desert and has fantastic havelis with wonderful fresco sketches, specifically Kanhaiya Lal Bagla Ki Haweli and Surana Haweli, with many little windows.
It additionally has some fine Chhatris. Close to the town is a religious seat of the Nath organization of Sadhus where there are life-estimate marble statues of their gods and a place for supplications. At the focal point of the town is a fortification worked around 1400 years prior. Established in A.D. 1120 by Nirban faction of Rajputs, the place was named Churu after chauhans name in the Jangladesh district of the state. It was in this way controlled by chauhan rajputs and amid the war of 1871 the zone went under predominance of Bikaner. Churu, similar to a desert spring, arranged amidst the moving brilliant sand rises, opens the entryway to the Thar Desert.
