Charkhi Dadri

Charkhi Dadri is a city and headquarters of Charkhi Dadri district in the state of Haryana, India, about 90 km from Delhi. The town was made by joining the towns of Charkhi and Dadri after urban improvement. Charkhi Dadri is on NH 148 B between Narnaul to Bathinda and NH 348B between Meerut to Pilani section going through the city. Charkhi Dadri is a town situated in southern Haryana 110 kilometers 68 mi from the national capital of New Delhi. Old stories guarantees that the name "Dadri" is gotten from a lake called Dadar. As per another story, the place had a lake which was brimming with dadur Sanskrit: frog from which it took its present name.
