Bagh

Bagh is a census town in Dhar district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is known for the Bagh Caves, which are late 4th- to 6th-century Buddhist rock-cut chambers with murals. The name of the town originates from the hollows - as indicated by neighborhood legend there were living tigers bagh in a few dialects of India in these deserted Buddhist caverns. In 1982, a store of 27 engravings issued by the Maharajas of Valkha was found at Risawala close Bagh. The engravings were issued from a place known as Valkha, which has prompted proposals that the name "Bagh" is gotten from "Valkha". The engravings are dated to the years 38-134 of an unspecified timetable period. History specialists D. C. Sircar and R. C.
