Ashoknagar

Ashoknagar also Ashok Nagar is a city and a Municipality Council in Ashoknagar District in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. It is the managerial central station of Ashoknagar District. Prior it was a piece of Guna locale. Ashoknagar is outstanding for its Grain Mandi and "Sharbati Gaihu", a sort of wheat. The closest city Guna 45 km from the city. Ashoknagar was in the past known as Prachar. The railroad line goes from the center of the city. Ashoknagar has a railroad station and Two Bus stations.

Ashoknagar is associated with the fundamental urban areas of Madhya Pradesh by street and railroad. Ashoknagar is situated in the northern piece of Madhya Pradesh, between the streams Sindh and the Betwa. It goes under the northern piece of Malwa level, however fundamental piece of its region lies in the Bundelkhand Plateau. The eastern and western limits of the region are very much characterized by the waterways. The Betwa streams along the eastern limit isolating it from Sagar District and Lalitpur District, India of Uttar Pradesh.

The Sindh is the primary stream streaming along the western limit. Chanderi, a piece of Ashoknagar, is acclaimed for its brocades and muslins, particularly for its handwoven Chanderi sarees. Ashoknagar is arranged on the Kota-Bina railroad area of Western Central Railway. Ashoknagar locale has limit to the fringe of UP in the east, around 87 km from Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh. Ashoknagar is roughly 190 km far from the capital of the state Bhopal, 360 km from Indore, and around 250 km from Gwalior.
