Amroha is a city in north-western Uttar Pradesh state in northern India, found north-west of Moradabad, close to the Sot River. It is the managerial central command of the Amroha region. The name of Amroha drove out from the word Amr Mango and Vanam forest. The creator of Tarikh-I-Amroha states that Amroha was administered by Bhardwaj Tagas somewhere in the range of 676 and 1141. Mahmud of Ghazni vanquished Amroha in 589 and 1093 AD. Behram Shah selected Malik Jalaluddin to the situation of Hakim of Amroha in 1242.
