Aluva

Aluva a region in Kochi Area of the Ernakulam district in Kerala in India. In festive weeks of
Shivratri, thousands gather here. Marthanda Varma Bridge, This is a very old bridge in Kochi
connecting the mainland to Aluva and this hold the NH47 to Selam . This crosses the periyar river
and there is a nice view of the Aluva mannapuram.
Alwaye Palace also known as Aluva Palace is a glorious monument, which is a reminiscent of the
splendor and heritage of the ancient past of Kerela. Alwaye palace is located on the banks of the
Periyar River, Alwaye palace has seen number of battles, which formed an important part of the
