Reykjavik

Reykjavík is the biggest city and capital of Iceland. It is situated in southwestern Iceland, on the southern shore of Faxa Bay.

The City Golf Club was set up in 1934. It is the most established and biggest golf club in Iceland. It comprises of two 18-gap courses - one at Grafarholt and the other at Korpa.

The Grafarholt fairway opened in 1963, which makes it the most established 18-gap green in Iceland. The Korpa fairway opened in 1997. Reykjavík is renowned for its end of the week nightlife.

Icelanders have a tendency to go out late, so bars that look rather peaceful can top off all of a sudden—for the most part after 12 pm on an end of the week. There are more than 100 distinct bars and clubs in Reykjavík the majority of them are situated on Laugavegur and its side lanes.
