About Hall of Art, Budapest

It is a contemporary art museum in Budapest, located in Heroes' Square, facing the Museum of Fine Arts.

It sometimes referred “Palace of art”.

It was built in 1895, by the plans of Albert Schickedanz and Fülöp Herczog, in eclectic-neoclassical style. The Kunsthalle hosts temporary exhibits contemporary art.

The craftsmanship gallery has transitory displays contemporary workmanship.

It works on the program of German Kunsthalles, as a foundation keeps running by a specialist that does not keep up its own accumulation.

It is an Institution of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

Its administration accomplice is the Ministry of Education and Culture.

It has a bookshop and library.
