Kumasi

Kumasi is a town in Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Kumasi is near Lake Bosomtwe, in a rain woodland location, and is the economic, business and cultural capital of Asanteman. Kumasi is about 500 kilometres north of the Equator and 200 kilometres north of the Gulf of Guinea.

Kumasi is as a substitute known as The Garden City because of its many beautiful species of flowers and flowers. It is also called Oseikrom. The 2nd biggest city in Ghana after the capital Accra, Kumasi known as Ghana's second city. There is evidence that the area round Kumasi has been kept cleared because the Neolithic age and that the first human settlement became at Lake Bosomtwe.
