Kumasi traditionally spelled Comassie or Coomassie and commonly spelled Kumase in Twi is a city in Ashanti Region, and is amongst the most important metropolitan regions in Ghana. Kumasi is near Lake Bosomtwe, in a rain woodland region, and is the industrial, industrial and cultural capital of Asanteman. Kumasi is about 500 kilometres north of the Equator and 200 kilometres north of the Gulf of Guinea. Kumasi is as a substitute called "The Garden City" due to its many lovely species of flowers and flora. It is also referred to as Oseikrom. Kumasi is defined as Ghana's 2nd city.
The Central Business District of Kumasi includes areas inclusive of Adum, Bantama and Bompata popularly known as Roman Hill is focused with masses of banks, branch stalls, lodges like Golden Tulip Hotel, Golden Bean Hotel among other luxury accommodations. Economic sports in Kumasi encompass economic and business sectors, pottery, garb and textile. There is a huge wooden processing community in Kumasi serving the desires of human beings in Ghana. Bantama High Street and Prempeh II Street in Bantama and Adum respectively have the reputation of being the hub of commercial enterprise and night existence in Kumasi.
