The Brong-Ahafo Region is placed in south Ghana. Brong-Ahafo is bordered to the north by using the Black Volta river and to the east via the Lake Volta, and to the south via the Ashanti, Eastern and Western regions.The capital of Brong-Ahafo is Sunyani. Brong-Ahafo became created on 14 April 1959 from the then Western Ashanti and named after the dominant and native population, Akans, Brong and Ahafo. Brong Ahafo is thought for its large cocoa manufacturing and agriculture agribusiness industries.
Brong-Ahafo contains many Akan cultural and wildlife points of interest, but it is much less regarded to tourists than the Ashanti or Central place. Attractions of Brong-Ahafo encompass Kintampo, with its waterfalls and nature reserves; Fiema, one of the groups that's home to the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary national parks, Bui National Park and Digya National Park. Paul Yeboah is the founding father of the Ghana Permaculture Institute. The Ghana Permaculture Institute is a non-income organization in Techiman.
