About Asamankese
Asamankese is a town in south Ghana and is the capital of West Akim Municipal District, an area in the Eastern Region of south Ghana. Asamankese has a 2013 settlement populace of around 39,435 people. Asamankese is on the fundamental roadway to Kumasi and Accra in the interior. The present-day city of Asamankese was established and involved by the Akwamu. The Akwamus moved south and eastbound from Dormaa around the fourteenth century to Twifo-Heman, North West Cape Coast.
