About Lobau
Lobau is a city in the east of Saxony, Germany, in the traditional region of Upper Lusatia. It is arranged between the inclines of the Lobauer Berg and the fruitful hilly territory of the Upper Lusatian Mountains. It is the portal to this volcanic rugged zone and somewhere between the urban communities of Bautzen, Gorlitz and Zittau. Lobau was first referenced in 1221 as "Oppidum Lubaw". Amid the Middle Ages the city was an individual from the Six-City League of Upper Lusatia. The town is generally known for the piano assembling organization August Forster.
The town lobby of the city is an essential blend of a few engineering styles. Another well known structure is the Villa Schminke or Schminke House openly available by the German draftsman Hans Scharoun, a standout amongst the most significant examples of natural and expressionist engineering. The structure dates from the 1930s, envisioning the engineering of the 1950s. It is viewed as one of Scharoun's preferred works.
