About Langenbach
Langenbach is a municipality inside the district of Freising in Bavaria in Germany. The city has its personal railway station on the Munich-Regensburg line, and lies on Landesstrabe 2350 among Freising and Moosburg. Its boroughs are Amperhof, Asenkofen, Grobenviecht, Kleinviecht, Niederhummel, Oberbach, Oberhummel, Oftlfing, Rast, Schmidhausen und Windham. Langenbach was first cited in 818. It belonged to the Landgericht of Kranzberg, in the Rentamt of Munich. Until its 1803 secularization, the bishopric of Freising turned into the Langenbach district's most crucial landowner.
Langenbach have become an unbiased municipality within the route of the 1818 Bavarian administrative reforms. The community of Oberhummel became incorporated into Langenbach in 1972. Thanks to its area at the Munich–Regensburg line and on Staatsstrabe 2350, Langenbach has become a famous commuter suburb. In 2009 the Langenbach educate station received new, expanded structures and a pedestrian underpass. Since 1973 Langenbach has been served by using the Hallertauer Lokalbahn, which runs from Freising to Langenbach on the Landshut line before diverting within the path of Hallertau.
