About Klingenberg
Klingenberg is a city inside the Miltenberg district in the Regierungsbezirk of Lower Franconia in Bavaria, Germany. It has a populace of round 6,200 and is positioned on both banks of the river Main. The city lies right at the boundary with the nation of Hesse on the Lower Main, and is made up of the old metropolis of Klingenberg and the 2 villages of Trennfurt and Rollfeld that were amalgamated with the metropolis in 1976. Lying on the Main’s right financial institution at the foot of the Spessart are Klingenberg and Rollfeld, while Trennfurt is over on the left bank on the foot of the Odenwald.
There are vineyards above the main metropolis of Klingenberg with their terrace-shaped slopes: the Hohberg and the Schlossberg, in which, among others, the well known Klingenberg red wine is grown. Klingenberg lies 12 km far from the district seat of Miltenberg, 28 km from the extra centre of Aschaffenburg and 67 km from Frankfurt, and is like the whole Bavarian Lower Main part of the Rhein-Main-Gebiet.
