About Heidenheim
Heidenheim is a city in Baden-Wurttemberg in southern Germany. It is located close to the border with Bavaria, about 17 km south of Aalen and 33 km north of Ulm. Heidenheim is the largest town and the seat of the district of Heidenheim, and ranks 0.33 behind Aalen and Schwabisch Gmund in size a few of the cities in the location of East Württemberg. Heidenheim is the financial middle for all of the groups in Heidenheim district and is the headquarters of the Voith commercial organisation. The metropolis's population surpassed the 20,000 mark in 1925. Heidenheim collaborates with the metropolis of Nattheim in administrative topics.
The citizens of Heidenheim and its surrounding area speak the wonderful German dialect of Swabian. Heidenheim is situated between Albuch and the Hartsfeld vicinity in the northeast corner of the Swabian Alb in which the valley of the Brenz meets the Stubental on the foot of Hellenstein Mountain. The source of the Brenz is positioned in Konigsbronn and enters Heidenheim from the northwest. It runs through the boroughs of Aufhausen and Schnaitheim earlier than it gets to Heidenheim. From there it maintains on to the south through the borough of Mergelstetten, earlier than it leaves the town limits to move for Herbrechtingen.
