About Bad Neustadt
Bad Neustadt is the county seat of the Lower Franconia district Rhon Grabfeld, 32 km north of Schweinfurt. The metropolis lies on the threshold of the Bavarian Rhon Nature Park on the confluence of Brend and Frankischer Saale. As early as 741 to 742, the incorporated town of Brendlorenzen changed into first noted in a charter of the newly based diocese of Wurzburg. The nearby St. Martin's Church later renamed St. John the Baptist changed into given to the diocese as one among 25 separate church buildings.
