About Lami
Lami, Fiji is an urban area in Rewa Province, Fiji, north-west of Suva. It was officially integrated as a Town in 1977, and had a populace of 20,529 at the most latest census in 2007. The municipal boundaries enclose a place of 680 square kilometers. Lami is governed by using a Town Council of 12 participants, elected for 3-year phrases, who pick a Mayor from amongst themselves.
