About Vyas Samman
The Vyas Samman is a literary award in India, first awarded in 1991. It is awarded annually by the K.K. Birla Foundation and includes a cash payout of Rs 350,000. To be eligible for the award, the literary work must be in the Hindi language and have been published in the past 10 years. First Vyas Respect In the year 1991 , Ramvilas Sharma 's work was given for 'India's ancient language family and Hindi'. Sachchidanand Hiranand Vatsyayan 'Agnayya' , Kunwar Narayan and Kedarnath Singh have also been decorated with this award.
Specialty :
Citation, mementos and cash of Rs 2.5 lakh are provided under Vyas Honor. Respect is determined by the Foundation.
This award is given every year for any literary work of Hindi published within the last 10 years.
In the opinion of the committee, if any work is not available for any year, there is a provision for not awarding that year.
According to the rules of respecting diameter, the work can be done in any form of literature. Apart from creative literature, books like other autobiographies such as autobiography, fine essay, review and criticism, history of literature and language are also considered.
Specification of Vyas Respect is that it is given to literary master by not keeping the literary in the center.
Honors are not given posthumously, but after the discussion has started in the selection committee, if the author of the proposed work is dead, the work can be considered.
No other work of respected authors in the future is considered.
