Tong Tong Fair
About Tong Tong Fair
The Tong Tong Fair in The Hague is the world’s largest Eurasian festival. The event is sort of half a century old. Being a cultural festival, tradeshow and food fest all on the identical time, it without a doubt stimulates the senses. The Tong Tong Fair is held in a group of massive tents. The Tong Tong Fair includes the Grand Pasar, the East-West Fair and the Food Court, Holland’s largest unmarried group of Asian food stalls. With its extensive range of cultural sports, the Tong Tong Festival spans 5 theatres in The Hague. You can enjoy a live cooking demonstration at the Cooking Theatre, discover a photograph exhibition on the Cultural Pavilion, or revel in generally Asian snacks at one of the many waroengs. All activities are held in large tents with timber flooring. The walkways between the tents also are protected and have wood floors. Between the tents you'll find a field, the aloen-aloen. It is going with out announcing that once the weather is right, the sector is used to maximum effect. Food stalls open terraces at the aloen-aloen and there is mostly a band playing. When the climate is less exceptional, spaces like the theatre and the living room in the front tent are heated.
