About Thiruvaiyaru

This is commended in Thiruvaiyaru, a town in the area of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It is a music celebration and appreciation for the popular music author and Saint Thyagaraja and is held each year in the long stretch of January. It is commended each year on the Pushya Bahula Panchami day when the holy person Thyagaraja achieved samadhi.

The celebration is held close to his Samadhi, on the banks of River Cauvery. This is one of the greatest music celebrations of India and invites music-sweethearts from all the nation. Aside from the music, customs and Pujas are additionally directed amid the two days of this festival. This celebration advances Carnatic and traditional music and is global to the point that it is also celebrated in USA, Mauritius and Nigeria. 

Thyagaraja Aradhana celebration is held in January when the vast majority of the main types of Carnatic music come to perform and are viewed by a great many passionate fanatics of established music.
