This is three week program welcomes New Year with splendor and avalanche of artiste of artistic events. The story continues with the celebration of the famous Australian Day Celebration on 26 January.

It is amongst a popular fests that calls travelers from their world on the land of Australia to experience the gala event that encompasses some important events in its kitty. Right from music, dance to visual arts, the Sydney Festival showcases the best of performing arts to its viewers. Some of the famous names that have participated in Sydney Festival are John Cale, Grandmaster Flash, Vieux Farka Tour, Diotima String Quartet and Al Green.

An open-air cinema, exhibitions, concerts and Sydney Harbour's AAMI Ferrython on Australia Day adds to the surprise of Sydney Festival. This year, many exciting and big performers have rendered their names for the celebration.
