About Kisan Diwas

Chaudhary Charan Singh Jayanti or the birth commemoration of Ch. Charan Singh is on December 23 every year. It is seen as Kisan Divas or Farmers day. Since ranchers are the foundation of an economy in this manner our country observes Farmers Day in the memory recently Ch. Charan Singh the ex-Prime Minister of India.

He was basically a rancher himself and his own way of life was amazingly straightforward. He was a child of the soil and his endeavors towards the change of an Indian rancher are unparalleled. He is credited for a large number of agrarian changes and new approaches being presented in India. His working class foundation helped him see genuine issues of the ranchers.
