About International Nurses Day

International Nurses Day IND is praised each year all around the globe on 12th of May to recognize the birth commemoration of the Florence Nightingale and to stamp the medical attendants commitments towards individuals' health. Nurse Day was first proposed by the Dorothy Sutherland who is an officer from the U.S. Division of Health, Education and Welfare in the year 1953 and first by the President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Furthermore, it was first celebrated by the International Council of Nurses ICN in the year 1965. In the long stretch of January, 12th  of May was pronounced to be praised as the birthday commemoration of the organizer of current nursing, the Florence Nightingale. International Nurses Day Kit is arranged and dispersed each year by the International Council of Nurses while commending the medical caretakers day.
