About Darbar Festival

 

Darbar Festival was established inside the reminiscence of inspirational tabla participant Gurmit Singh Ji Virdee. This autumn, we have curated an first-rate eight day Festival with tune on the Barbican Centre in October and dance curated through Akram Khan at Sadler’s Wells in November. Darbar Festival will host long-standing legends, maestros and the fine up-and-coming artists of Indian classical track and dance. 

 

At Darbar, they consider that everyone can benefit from this existence-converting artwork form. If you've got in no way been to an Indian classical overall performance, the Darbar Festival is the suitable location to discover an enchanting global of melody, rhythm and motion. Whether you’re a beginner or an aficionado to this artwork form, come and experience some of the sector’s greatest improvised track and choreographed dance.

 

Making Indian classical track to be had to every person via our digital work, this year we're extremely joyful to be launching the world’s first 360 video festival of music and dance in December.
