About Barura Sharif
Barura Sherif is a shrine constructed in memory of the renowned Sufi saint person Data Amir Ali Sha of the eighteenth century. He was a man of incredible virtues of love, purity and simplicity and was profoundly regarded by all individuals independent of rank and religion. The Barura Sherif reasonable is hung on the eve of Chaitra Navami, beginning from the first day of Chaitra to the tenth day, when a huge number of lovers visit the place of worship and pay reverence to the holy person.
The holy place is built at around 10 feet range from the bank of the River Sat Vahini seven Sisters and one needs to cross this regular stream to achieve the hallowed place. The fair is held with lots of energy and finishes with the recital of the Holy Quran on the tenth day. His mazar is said to be a holy place for both Hindu's and Muslims.
