About Bandra Fair

Bandra Fair is a grand carnival celebrated at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount, Bandra, which is a 100 year old Roman Catholic Church dedicated to Mother Mary. It is celebrated in the month of September every year for 8 to 10 days, starting from the Sunday after September 8. It is believed that Mother Mary was born on September 8.

During the fair, the entire area will be crowded with a number of shopping stalls and food stalls selling delicious sweets and delicacies from different parts of India, amusement rides, games, street events, music, dance and several cultural programs providing a grand carnival atmosphere. Bandra Fair attracts thousands of devotees from neighbouring states and different parts of the country.
