Izbat Al Burj

Izbat al Burj is a coastal metropolis with a huge fishing enterprise in Damietta Governorate, Egypt. It is 15 km northeast of Damietta, and 210 km from Cairo. Its populace is about 70,000. The metropolis is situated on the northern coast of Egypt at the mouth of the Damietta river, a distributary of the Nile, contrary Ras El Bar. The town became named in reference to the protective tower that after stood there.
