Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital and most populous metropolis of Denmark. As of July 2018, the town has a populace of 777,218. It forms the center of the wider urban place of Copenhagen and the Copenhagen metropolitan area. Copenhagen is located on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand; any other small portion of the metropolis is positioned on Amager, and it is separated from Malmo, Sweden, through the strait of oresund. The Oresund Bridge connects the 2 towns via rail and road. Originally a Viking fishing village installed in the tenth century in the region of what is now Gammel Strand, Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark inside the early fifteenth century.
