Maya Bay "The Beach" TripLDepart the mainland today on a day trip to the beautiful island of Koh Phi Phi and Maya Bay. We will pick you up in Krabi and bring you to the pier, where you will start your awesome day trip to visit some of the most beautiful and well-known beaches in Thailand. We will stop at Phi Phi Don, and then continue Pileh Bay and the Viking Cave where fishermen inhabit the hostile rock caves in order to scratch out a living. Swim at the iconic and popular Maya Bay where the movie, “The Beach”, with Leonardo di Caprio was filmed and search out a quiet corner to take photos. Then we will continue to visit other amazing beaches and islands such as Bamboo Island, Hin Klarng, Ao-pelae and Loh Sama. Then we bring you back to the pier and then you will be brought back to your accommodation for overnight. NOTES:-From April-October 2018, the beach at Maya Bay will be closed to tourists for restoration. You will still be able to see the bay and snorkel there, but we will not dock on the actual beach. -The itinerary is subject to change without prior notice according to climate conditions. Mangrove & Cave Kayak at Ban Bor Thong LDepart Krabi this morning and begin your day with a kayaking adventure into a cave surrounded by lush limestone cliffs overgrown by palms and cycads. Continue paddling to reach “Pee Hua Tor” known as the big-headed ghost cave after a larger-than-average human skull was discovered here. Awe at the 100 pictographs of mythological and real animals and people etched onto the cave ceiling and walls, evidence of an ancient civilization that resided here. Observe the interesting stalactite formations in the cave with a unique shape directed towards the light at the cave’s main entrance. Imagine life here thousands of years ago among the ocean, limestone crags and mangroves as you paddle into the depths of this great chamber and emerge again through one of cave’s three openings. Rock Climbing LToday we will depart from your accommodation and take a transfer to meet at 9am where we will be able to go rock-climbing on limestone walls. Scale the iconic limestone cliffs above Railay Beach on a full day rock climbing and caving tour. With an expert guide, you will learn how to use the equipment, a basic introduction to top rope sport rock climbing and to simple belay and rappel techniques; basic outdoor climbing safety measures and more!
