Meet, greet and travel to Haridwar via a local train or a bus. Haridwar is at a distance of 219 km from Delhi and it takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes to get there. Haridwar is one of the most popular pilgrim centers and there are a lot of attractions to cover. Har-ki-Pauri The first place is Har-ki-Pauri and here you would get to witness the mighty Ganges thousands of devotees offering prayers to Lord Shiva. This place holds a major significance in Haridwar as this is the place where Kumbh Mela happens. Temples and more temples After you are done seeking blessings from Lord Shiva there are other temples in and around that you can visit. Some of the major temples are the Chandi Devi & Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, and Bilkeshwar Mahadev Temple. Anandmai Ashram Once you are done with the lunch, the temple run starts again and you would be taken to the Anandmai Ashram where you could sit peacefully and meditate for a while. The day would come to an end after you are done reflecting on your thoughts at the Anandmai Ashram. Dinner would be served at the hotel after which you can retreat to beds.
