Then we are going to enter the most ancient street of our city Varvarka or St.Barbara, where numerous churches, Chambers of the Romanov boyars, the Old English Court (the residence for the British Muscovy Trading Company), Merchants Court and a fairly new park Zaryadye with trees and plants from various climatic zones of Russia and flying observation bridge are located .Varvarka street leads us to Red Square - the heart of Moscow where one of the most iconic works of medieval Russian architecture the Saint Basil’s Cathedral, the country’s first department stores GUM, Lenin’s Mausoleum and Kazan Cathedral are situated.. At the end of the excursion we will see the building of State Duma (the Lower Chamber of Russian Parliament), Alexandrovsky Garden, Kremlin’s walls and towers, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where the Changing of the Guard Ceremony takes place.
