Ecstatic 7 Days 6 Nights Paro Vacation Package

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN THE PARO AIRPORT. • Our Representative from Bhutanitis Travels will receive you in Paro and drive you towards Thimphu. • After lunch, Visit National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who is also known as “father of Modern Bhutan”. • Visit changangkha Lakhang. • Overnight halt in Hotel Sey Nya in Thimphu.

DAY 02: THIMPHU TSHECHU. • After the breakfast, your transport will drive you to the venue of the Festival. • Attend the Thimphu Tshechu. The Festival is held at the court yard of the Tashichho Dzong and is one of the largest public gatherings witnessed in the entire country. • You have the option to attend the festival for the whole day or half day. If you wish to attend the festival only for half day then an alternative activity shall be arranged for you eg : visit to Dechen Phodrang or Sangay-gang view point. • Dinner and Accommodation in Hotel Ser Nya in Thimphu.

DAY 03: THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA After breakfast, • Visit KuenselPhodrang, where the largest statue of Sitting Buddha is located. • After lunch drive to Punakha. • On the way to Punakha, halt in Dochu-La Pass (3140 m) for photography. • Dinner and accommodation will be in hotel Vara in Lobesa.

DAY 04: PUNAKHA TO PHOBJIKHA After an early breakfast, take a tour of Punakha valley. • Visit to Punakha Dzong – Built in 1637, by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to serve as the religious and administrative center of the region. • Proceed towards Phobjikha. • After lunch visit Gangtey Gompa in Gangtey village. • Explore Phobjikha valley, famous for the Black Necked Cranes during winter. You can also opt for photography while you are in Phobjikha valley. • Overnight halt in hotel Wangchuk Lodge in Phobjikha.

DAY 05: PHOBJIKHA TO PARO • After breakfast, drive to Paro. • After arrival to Paro, visit Paro Ta Dzong(National Museum)and Ringpung Dzong. • Overnight halt in Hotel DorjeeLing in Paro.

DAY 06: EXCURSION TO PARO TAKSANG (TIGER’S NEST) • After breakfast, take a hike to the Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang). This is the most visited tourist destination in Bhutan, attracting tourist from all over the world. It is a temple perched alongside a cliff 900 meters above the ground. It is said that Guru Rinpoche flew towards this site on the back of a tigress, hence the name Tiger’s Nest. • Dinner and overnight halt in Hotel DorjeeLing in Paro.

DAY 07: DEPARTURES FROM PARO AIRPORT. • After breakfast, your transport will drive you towards the Aiport and we bid you farewell and safer journey for your flight.
