Day 2 : Tsongo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion- Nathula if get Permit After breakfast go for full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir. 1. Tsomgo Lake: Tsomgo Lake is located 35 km away from the city on the Gangtok-Nathula highway. This highway is also a part of the old route that links India and China. Worshipped by Sikkimese, this holy lake is approximately 20 km away from the Nathula Pass, while located at a distance of around 400 km from Lhasa.The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. The river Lungtze Chu originates from this lake, which meets Rangpo-chu down its course. According to the history, the color of water of this lake was studied by Lamas so as to forecast about the future. They believed, if the water had a dark tinge, it indicated a year full of trouble and unrest in the state. Tsomgo Lake is located in the restricted area for which tourists require an Inner Line Permit. This permit can be obtained from the Police through the travel agent or Tourism Department. During the winter months, the entire lake gets from. Tourists can also witness a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built on the lakeside. In addition, around the Tsomgo Lake, primula flowers and other alpine plantation are also grown. Tourists can also take a stroll on the footpath along the lake, which leads to a resting shed located at a distance of around half a kilometre. 2. Baba Mandir: Baba Mandir is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. CAPTAIN Baba Harbhajan Singh (August 3, 1941 – October 4, 1968) was an Indian army officer who died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. He is revered by the soldiers of the Indian army, who have built a shrine in his honor. Baba is reported to have granted favours to the soldiers, and guard each one in the inhospitable terrain. A shrine was built at his samadhi, at an elevation of around 4,000 metres (13,123 ft). According to army folklore, Baba is a stickler for discipline and is known to admonish those who do not tow this line. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The old one has been built at the site of the bunker, where Baba Harbhajan was posted during his tenure in the Indian Army. The new one has been built at close proximity from Changu Lake.(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.) Day 3 : Gangtok Full Day Sight Seeing After breakfast proceed for full day local Gangtok sightseeing like Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten & Banjakhri Falls. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 4 : Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfer After Breakfast proceeds for Darjeeling (7,200 ft. / 97 km / 3 hours), The Queen of Hill’s. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel.

Day 5 : Darjeeling Sightseeing - with Tiger Hill After breakfast, early in the morning before dawn at 4 am proceed to Tiger Hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the Khancendzonga Ranges. After Freshen up and breakfast at the hotel visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park and Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, Refugee self help centre, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery after lunch proceed for Gangtok overnight stay & dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 : Darjeeling to Siliguri After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to railway station, Then proceed to Siliguri by Toy Train (By your own expenses). Then pick up from NJP and proceed to Hotel, check in and overnight stay at Siliguri.
