Our airport arrival and departure representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival schedule. You will then be transferred to our hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Our staff will help you until check-in procedure ends at Hotel. Either you can have a rest at the Hotel or visit NGT’s office for gathering additional information about the trek. After breakfast, we will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which takes around 45 minutes. Lukla is the gateway to entire Everest or Khumbu region of Nepal. After landing at the airstrip of Lukla, we will start our trek by following a slightly rising trail that climbs through the left bank of Dudh Koshi river. Our trek passes along several Mani walls as we arrive at Ghat. From there we will continue our uphill trekking to reach Phakding for the overnight stay. From Phakding we start our day by crossing a small stream before climbing up the terraced hill to arrive at Bengar. A mixture of several uphill and downhill will lead us towards Sagarmatha National Park Service where the park entrance fee is collected. As the mountain path zigzags uphill, we emerge at a ridge top rest area that offers excellent views of Everest and Lhotse. Our climb eases somewhat as the path goes along the pine forest to reach Namche Bazaar – The Sherpa Capital. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After spending a full day rest at Namche Bazaar, we will continue our trek towards Tyangboche. To the right there is a steep cliff that drops down to the Dudh Koshi, faintly visible on the valley floor below. It is a rather long climb to Tyangboche. The first half of the trek is especially steep. As we climb through the forested zone, the incline eases and the splendid view of harsh alpine valleys surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Our climb continues until we reach the stone gate built by lamas which mark our entry into Tyangboche. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will leave Tyangboche and start to ascend over the mountain path that offers stunning views of Ama Dablam and Kantega as they appear on the opposite bank. We will continue our uphill trekking as we pass through the chorten-lined route, the upper path passes Pangboche and a monastery and the lower path to Pangboche Olin and its stone wall-enclosed potato field. Our trail climbs slowly passing a village to reach a big Mani Stupa. From there, our trek is fairly moderate all the way to Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche. After breakfast, we will follow the trail that heads downward to Pheriche village. After about two hours of trekking from Pheriche, we will arrive at Dugla. Here we will cross a small wooden bridge over the outflow of Khumbu glacier. We will make a stop at Dugla for having lunch. After lunch we continue trekking for an hour up a steep hill to the top from where good views of Mt. Pumori and other peaks west of Everest can be seen. From there our trek continues up to Lobuche for our overnight stay. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leaving Lobuche we trek up the valley following the rocky moraine trail with views of icy glacial ponds and icebergs down below the Khumbu glacier. After the last rocky moraine dunes, a short downhill walk brings us to Gorakshep. Gorakshep is the flat field below Kala Patthar 5545m and is the last stop with comfy teahouses. From there our trail winds through a rocky path and the Khumbu glacier towards Everest Base Camp. After witnessing a great moment at the Base Camp, we will retrace our steps back towards Gorakshep for our overnight stay. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we start early in order to accomplish an early morning hike to Kala Patthar at 5545 meters and enjoy the magnificent sunrise view over Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kanguru, and other surrounding peaks within Everest region. After spending quality time at Kalapatthar we will retrace our steps and descend back to Gorakshep. From there it is a downhill trekking all the way to Pheriche. At Pheriche we will pay a morning visit to the research center. After breakfast we start our return trek following an easier descent passing through rhododendron forest and continue trekking as we approach Tyangboche for our overnight stay. In the evening we will have great views of Ama Dablam and the beautiful valleys with lush green hills. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast we continue our trek as we leave Tyangboche behind and trek towards Namche Bazaar. The walk from Tyangboche is mostly downhill on the main EBC trail with a few steep climbs for an hour from the bridge at Phungetenga. The scenic and pleasant walk through Khumjung brings us back to Namche Bazaar for the overnight stay. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The last day of this adventurous Everest Base Camp Trekking leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is a pleasant journey, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring us to Lukla. We will celebrate the completion of the trek with the crew in the evening. Accommodation: Tea House Lodge Meals: All meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we will take a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. After landing at Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can either harvest at the hotel or take a walk around the busy shopping streets of Thamel. In the evening please join our Farewell Dinner Program organised by Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition for celebrating the completion of the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu. Accommodation: Hotel Resort Meals: BB Plan + Farewell Dinner
