About Veseli nad Moravou
Veseli nad Moravou is a metropolis inside the district of Hodonin within the South Moravian Region, 14 km south of Uherske Hradiste on the Morava River. There live approximately 11,000 population. Its ancient middle is an city conservation location. The first mention of Veseli comes from the 11th and 12th centuries. The first documented mention dates again to 1261. At the beginning of the 14th century Matus Cak Trencansky conquered the citadel, and in 1315 Jan Lucembursky reconnected it to Moravia.
During the Hungarian wars, on July 27, 1469, Matyas Korvin occupied the town and captured Viktorin of Podebrady. From the beginning of the 16th century there has been a Bohemian Brethren village. In the 17th century, Veseli was occupied numerous instances by enemy troops, destroyed through large fires at the beginning of the 19th century. In 1949, Veselí have become a district metropolis, but with the aid of 1960 the Veseli district had disappeared. Milokost is connected to the metropolis in 1950 and Zarazice is hooked up 4 years later. Ironworks were built in 1961, construction of the Hutník housing property began in 1965 and Chaloupky housing property in 1970. The new elementary artwork faculty become opened in 2003.
