Valasske Mezirici

Valasske Mezirici is a city within the Vsetin district within the Zlin Region, 15 km north of Vsetin on the confluence of Roznovska and Vsetinska Becva. There are approximately 22,000 inhabitants. Its place is the gateway of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy and an important delivery hub. Sometimes Valasske Mezirici is also referred to as Wallachian Athens or simply Valmez. The ancient middle of the town turned into d an city conservation area in 1992.
