Kastel Sucurac is a town within the administrative place of Kastela in Dalmatia, Croatia. Patron saint of the metropolis is Saint George. A cited element of the historical records of this place is Diocletian's Palace in nearby Split, which shape was built in the period 293 to 305. In Kastel Sucurac stands the oldest defensive castle constructed in 1392 via A. Gvaldo the Archbishop of Split. to defend peasants from the agreement Putalj which turned into situated at the slopes of Kozjak, near the little church of St. Juraj. Additional constructing formed a settlement via the ocean.
Archbishop Averaldo built his summer season house in 1488, and fortress receives its final form in 1509. The oldest center of Sucurac is Kaštilac, a backyard of fortified palace villa with the south wall opened through lavishly embellished home windows in High Gothic fashion. Unlike different villages the square is here formed at the south side of the summer time house. Today, there may be the exhibition room Podvorje where one a part of archeological artifacts from Putalj is held.
