About Kastel Stafilic
Kastel Stafilic is a town in the administrative location of Kastel in Dalmatia, Croatia. The oldest tree in Croatia, an olive tree expected to be over 1,500 years vintage, is in Kastel. Kastel Stafilic's most majestic characteristic, is its old stone village, with its important square. It is situated on a long seafront, domestic to numerous summer time gala's, and activities.
One component that unites all of the Kastelas, is a common prom, in which it is easy to visit 6 other Kastelas, or pass West, and take a leisurely walk until they in the end get to Trogir. The Mastrinka Olive Tree is more than 1500 years old. It shows that the processing and cultivation of olive timber in Kastela has taken area considering the fact that ancient times. The tree is 11 meters high, with a radius of 23 m. The trunk is dry and hole, however over the years around it has grown new branches and shoots. The oil acquired from the olives, at the olive tree, is bought as a souvenir in small bottles in the city museum, in Kastela.
