About Shangyu
Shangyu is an area of the prefecture-level city of Shaoxing in the upper east of Zhejiang region, China. At the 2010 statistics, its populace in the developed region was 779,412, up from 722,523 in the 2000 enumeration. Shangyu is around 50 kilometers from north to south and around thirty kilometers from east to west. It makes up around one to fourth of the zone of Shaoxing prefecture. Shangyu District isn't a piece of the Hangzhou Shaoxing developed zone as some wide open still keep the city from being conurbated as of not long ago.
Shangyu's urban focus, Baiguan, is found where the Cao'e River streams out of the sloping territory that makes up the greater part of the province, into level alluvial land circumscribing Hangzhou Bay. This stream, and the Cao E Temple alongside it, are named following a multi year old young lady who ended up celebrated in 143 AD for her obedient dedication. She kicked the bucket in the stream endeavoring to recover the body of her dad who suffocated while administering at a service out of appreciation for Wu Zixu himself's identity popular for his dutiful devotion.
