About Baise
Baise, or Bose, is the westernmost prefecture-level metropolis of Guangxi, China bordering Vietnam as well as the provinces of Guizhou and Yunnan. The name is from Youjiang Zhuang Baksaek, meaning "in, or blocking off, a mountain pass". Baise is positioned in western- northwestern Guangxi bordering Qianxinan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture to the north, Qujing and Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan to the west, the Vietnamese provinces of Ha Giang and Cao Bang to the south and southwest, and the Guangxi towns of Hechi to the northeast/east, Nanning to the east, and Chongzuo to the southeast. It is centrally located between 3 provincial capitals: Nanning, Kunming, and Guiyang.
Its place is 36,252 km² and is greater than 55% forested. The call of the city Baise is a Chinese transliteration of its authentic name in Youjiang Zhuang language, Baksaek, which probable means jammed gap. Baise is young by using Chinese standards and turned into founded as a metropolis in 1730. It is the city where Deng Xiaoping, Chen Haoren and different leaders of the Chinese Communist Party prepared an uprising in opposition to the Nationalist government on December 11,1929. The rebellion become also named Youjiang Rebellion. You can visit this place with your loved ones.
