About Whitecourt
Whitecourt is a town in focal Alberta, Canada inside Woodlands County. It is found roughly 177 km 110 mi northwest of Edmonton and 279 km 173 mi southeast of Grande Prairie at the intersection of Highway 43 and Highway 32, and has a height of 690 m 2,260 ft. The Whitecourt meteor affect pit is found on close-by Whitecourt Mountain. Whitecourt is likewise situated at the conversion of four conduits – the Athabasca River, McLeod River, Sakwatamau River and Beaver Creek. A Canadian National rail line goes through the town.
The people group was shaped in the place referred to by the Cree as Sagitawah where the streams meet.
