White City

White City is a commuter city in the White Butte place of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. White City is 10 kilometres east of Regina on the Trans-Canada Highway. The city is broadly speaking populated by way of city specialists and young families who work in Regina. The metropolis's motto is "Your Way of Life" White City started out on 80 acres owned by way of Johnston Lipsett. The community became a hamlet in 1958, a village in 1967 and a metropolis in 2000.

The area turned into named after White City, London, England while John Kadannek, a local shop owner, persuaded Lipsett to name it for the home of his favourite aunt. White City is domestic to Television Centre, White City Place and Queens Park Rangers soccer membership's floor Loftus Road. White City is serviced with a library and a Canada Post workplace. Ecole White City School and Emerald Ridge Elementary School provide schooling for kindergarten thru 8th grade. Students in grades 9 via 12 are bused 10 minutes northeast to Greenall School in Balgonie. White City to very lovely city.
