About Sundre
Sundre is a town in focal Alberta, Canada. It is situated in Mountain View County, 100 km northwest from Calgary, along the Cowboy Trail in the Canadian Rockies lower regions. Sundre takes its name from a town in Norway, the first home of Nels T. Hagen, the town's first postmaster.Sundre's first postmaster, nels T. Hagen, touched base in 1906. Sundre fused as a town in 1950 and after that as a town in 1956.
