Sundre

Sundre is a town in focal Alberta, Canada. It is situated in Mountain View County, 100 km northwest from Calgary, along the Cowboy Trail in the Canadian Rockies lower regions. Sundre takes its name from a town in Norway, the first home of Nels T. Hagen, the town's first postmaster.Sundre's first postmaster, nels T. Hagen, touched base in 1906. Sundre fused as a town in 1950 and after that as a town in 1956.

Primary enterprises in the zone are oil generation, ranger service, horticulture, and ranching. Cultural scenes inside Sundre incorporate the Sundre Municipal Library and the Sundre and District Pioneer Village Museum, which highlights "Chester Mjolsness' World of Wildlife" show of 150 mounted creatures from over the world.
