About Marieville
Marieville is a city in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is located within the Rouville Regional County Municipality in the Monteregie region about 30 kilometers east of Montreal. In 1708, Sieur Claude de Ramezey acquired a package of land which was named the Monnoir estate. Populace expanded beginning at around 1740.
