Canmore

Canmore is a town in Alberta, Canada, found around 81 kilometers 50 mi west of Calgary close to the southeast limit of Banff National Park. It is situated in the Bow Valley inside Alberta's Rockies. The town imparts a fringe to Kananaskis Country toward the west and south and the Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8 toward the north and east. With a population of 12,288 out of 2011, Canmore is the ninth-biggest town in Alberta.
