Bon Accord

Bon Accord is a town in focal Alberta, Canada. It is found 40 km 25 mi north of downtown Edmonton on Highway 28. The name is gotten from "Bon Accord", the antiquated aphorism of Aberdeen, Scotland, the familial home of a first pioneer. The International Dark-Sky Association assigned Bon Accord an International Dark Sky Community in August 2015 in acknowledgment of the town's execution of activities to save and upgrade dull night skies over the network.
